Robots and mathematics

Bee Bot and Robot Mouse are floor robots. We have used them to learn maths.

Bee Bot y Robot Mouse son robots de suelo,avanzan distancias de  15 cm y 12,5 cm, respectivamente, en cada pulsación y realizan giros de 90º.

Con ellos podemos trabajar:

• Operaciones matemáticas Math operations.

Colocamos las fichas de suelo y distribuimos números en ellas. Tiramos dos dados y realizamos una operación matemática con los dados (suma, resta, multiplicación…) y dirigimos al robot hasta el número resultante.

We use number tiles. We throw two dices and make operations with the numbers (add, multiplication,..). Afterward we make the robot move to the right number.

• Formas y colores:  Shapes and colours

Sobre la plantilla de suelo colocaremos formas geométricas de diversos colores para trabajar los conceptos llevando al robot a las distintas formas y colores.

On a chart with different geometric shapes of different colours we can work with diversal concepts. We move the robot to the right geometric shape.

• Cálculo de distancias: Distance.

Sabiendo que la abeja se mueve 15 cm y el ratón  12,5cm, calcula la distancia hasta tu compañero contando el número de pasos que da la abeja o el ratón.

The bee move 15cm each and the mouse 12,5cm. each.., we have to calculate the distance counting the number of steps of the bee of the mouse.

Suma, cuenta y multiplica las fichas para que coincidan con los números de las burbujas. Al estallar bastantes burbujas se liberará el pez y desatará una tormenta de truenos y relámpagos. Grande ó pequeño, par o impar.

Add, count and multiplicate the tiles to make it coincident with the bubbles. 

Tangram

Organiza las piezas de madera del rompecabezas para que coincidan con las formas en pantalla. Animales, objetos, seres humanos y más. Juega con un amigo para alcanzar niveles cada vez más difíciles a medida que tú obra se ilumina con cada victoria.

Pizza

Cocina pizza y calcula el cambio usando los ingredientes y las fichas del dinero. Invierte tu ganancia para actualizar tu tienda.

                    Creamos nuestro avatar utilizando polígonos y cuerpos geométricos.
